The E2 ERP uses two different backend systems for data storage. The iDashboards connection will connect to either of these backend systems. The small E2 environment uses a Microsoft Access backend, while the larger environments use Microsoft SQL Server backend. The below instructions will walk you through the setup of both types of the configuration first Microsoft Access then Microsoft SQL Server.
Setting up E2 ERP with Microsoft Access backend
Download and install the appropriate Microsoft ODBC driver for your version of Microsoft Access. This driver should be installed on your iDashboards server.
