An iDashboards production license must be nodelocked to the internal IP v4 address of the server where iDashboards is installed. A server may often have more than one IP address assigned to it, and it is important that the correct one is used, otherwise users will not be able to log into iDashboards.
In order to determine the correct IP address, the iDashboards software must be already installed on the production server. If you don't already have one, you may request a temporary non-nodelocked license from your iDashboards Account Executive to use for the installation. Once iDashboards has been installed on the production server, perform the following steps:
1. Login to the iDashboards Admin application.
2. On the very first screen after successful login you’ll see a page similar to this:
3. Carefully make a note of the IP address displayed in the “Server IP Address” row.
4. Send that IP address to your iDashboards Account Executive via email. Additionally, you can send a readable screenshot of the Admin home page. (Optional).
