How do I upgrade iDashboards?
First you need to know if you are licensed to download “iDashboards_XXX_Enterprise_CDROM.zip” or iDashboards_XXX_Xplatfrom_CDROM.zip. If you using Reports, Alerts, or Analytics you will need to download iDashboards_XXX_Xplatfrom_CDROM.zip. Please download the following from the support download site and read the document before doing an upgrade:
2. 'Upgrading iDashboards to Version X.X.pdf'
The username and password was sent to the main contact before the original install. If you need assistance with your user name and or password contact iDashboards Support for assistance.
Backup your repository database before attempting an upgrade.
If you are running iDashboards v7.0 or below, the license for your iDashboards version 8.0 upgrade will be sent separately. If you are running iDashboards v7.5, the license should be compatible with iDashboards v8 and greater. Please contact iDashboards Support if the license does not work. Please do not attempt to upgrade until you receive the license. Please follow all the steps as listed in the 'Upgrading iDashboards to Version 8.0.pdf' document to complete the upgrade.
