In iDashboards, the background image within a Public Access user URL does not refresh properly Internet Explorer.
The browser is not refreshing as expected. It is still referring to the existing image file stored in cache causing the issue.
1. The timestamp on the image is updated with every file update.
2. Internet Explorer has developer tools, which can be accessed by pressing F12 on the keyboard, that will display developer debug window. This allows you to set the Cache to 'Always refresh from server' and capture the browser traffic. If you 'Always refresh from server' then you will always get the latest image. Within a network, please work with the network team to set a Group Policy object on this setting so that the browser always refreshes.
