Starting June 30, 2018 ODBC will no longer be supported by iDashboards. This is due to Oracle removing the ODBC bridge from Java 8.
iDashboards is able to connect to your Microsoft Access database as a data source using ODBC. The attached document will guide you through how to set this connection up.
- For Access 2013, download and install the 32 bit Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010 Redistributable from here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=13255
- For versions of Access prior to 2013, download and install the 32 bit Microsoft 2007 Office System Driver: Data Connectivity Components from here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=23734
Access 2013: If you see the error message "[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Cannot open database '(unknown)'" you are are more then likely missing the 'Access Database Engine 2010 Redistributable' please download it and try adding the data source again.
