Question:
I recently purchased the Reports module as an addition to my existing iDashboards installation.
How do I deploy this Reports module?
Answer:
Please make sure you have received and uploaded a new license file issued by your iDashboards account executive which activates the Reports module.
Refer to 'How Do I Upload a New License File?' for reference on uploading the license file.
To add the Reports Module to an existing installation of iDashboards:
- Download the current version of the 'iDashboards_EnterpriseSuite_CDROM' from the below support download site and save it on the server where the iDashboards application is installed
- http://support.idashboards.com/downloads/
- Stop the Tomcat / iDashboards service.
- Extract the 'idb_reports_module.zip' file from the 'bin' folder of the downloaded iDashboards CDROM image into the ivizgroup folder on the server. This will create a folder called 'report' in the ivizgroup folder.
- Finally restart Tomcat.
