iDashboards Enterprise service release v10.3c was released today.
This release combines a small number of specific bug fixes as noted below.
Product Updates and Bug fixes
- User
- Fixed a rendering issue with 'show range swatches' on the Report Chart.
- Fixed an issue when frame borders (with a width of "1") were sometimes unable to be repositioned.
- The "Top" SUM label position on Pie/Donut charts was fixed.
- The Group_ID was being displayed in front of the Category name in various areas.
- Internet Explorer users can now edit their User Settings.
- The Guest user URL would not resolve correctly for the TEXT interface of iDashboards.
- Within the Chart and Dashboard Designers, the "Open Chart" and "Drilldown to <x>" dialog windows were not displaying the thumbnails correctly.
- Input Parameters:
- An error message would not disappear even after fixing an imported parameter that previously had an error.
- Resolved an issue with DATE type columns within multi-select picklists.
- Resolved an issue with cascading parameter and STRING type columns.
- Resolved a rare situation where a multi-select list contains ${null} and SQL didn't properly allow 'in' and 'not in' operators.
- Admin
- When deleting a user, any charts/dashboards saved within the Personal category for that user were being orphaned instead of getting moved into the Personal category of the 'admin' user.
- An error message would not disappear when navigating away from OpenID/SAML page.
- Deleting a user, who had favorite dashboards would cause an error.
- There was an issue with URL-Based SSO, it would only work if either Appserver-Based SSO is TRUE, or OpenID is ON, or SAML is ON.
- When creating multiple LCD slideshows, the Slideshow Manager was retaining the previous dashboard list when creating additional lists.
- Reports
- Now capable of rendering Arabic fonts.
- Fixed an issue where scheduling was disabled if a required parameter was being used (and a default value was applied).
- Alerts
- The Viewer role was unable to view the chart snapshot when navigating a chart alert.
- Fixed an issue where scheduling was disabled if a required parameter was being used (and a default value was applied).
- Data Hub
- Resolved a problem where NVARCHAR columns did not appear if the Microsoft JDBC driver was being used.
- The "Trim Whitespace" task was missing a vertical scroll within the configuration window.
- The "Date Difference" task would not display the "unconfigured" icon if there was an issue.
- The "Filter Row" task would have issues displaying an error when there was a bad script/expression.
- Job_ID is now part of the URL when saving a new ETL job.
- Architecture
- Upgraded commons-fileupload-1.3.2 with commons-fileupload-1.4
- Removed Dom4j library
- Other
- Improved 'info tip' position.
- Fixed the Copyright position on the GeoPlot Map chart.
- The Chart Designer had a floating search box
- Improved a screen on the iDashboards Auto Uploader (IAU)
