The Zendesk API connectors are part of the Premium Data Connector if you do not have these please contact your account manager.
To get started you will need:
- Admin access to Zendesk.
- Admin email
- API Token
If you do not know how to generate your API Token please follow the Zendesk's Generating a new API token directions.
Once you have the API token you can now create a new Data Source in iDashboards. Go to your iDashboards Admin. Click on Data Sources and once the page is loaded you will see a green "New" button. Now you can fill out the page with the information below.
Data Source Type:
From the dropdown select Generic JDBC
Update the User with the admin's Email address and the ApiToken with the token you received from Zendesk.
Optional Driver Properties:
Update the Company Name with your default Zendesk account name.
JDBC Driver Class:
Check Quote table and Column Name
Check Allow Custom Queries
You should be able to Save your new Data Source.
